When Meredith Buchwald first moved to Florida, she quickly realized
that flip flops were the shoes of choice among women, including
herself. Not one to stifle her creative impulses, Meredith began
designing her own personal pairs and before long women everywhere
went into a flip-flop frenzy. In November of 2002, Meredith decided
to expand her creative idea into a line of fabulous footwear by
launching her own collection appropriately titled Flattering Flops.
A former graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology
in NYC, Meredith knows the importance of merging comfort and style
in order to create functional footwear. The line features Havaianas
Brazilian 100% rubber flip flops highlighted by Vintage Crystal
Flowers or Grosgrain Ribbon bows adorned with Austrian Crystal hearts
and circles. The decorative ribbons are available in a broad selection
of styles, including Swiss dots, stripes and plaids. To insure the
best quality, Flattering Flops uses a laser technique to cut and
secure the ribbon in a way that guarantees a flawless finish that
will never fray.
We have 3 flip flops styles (classic, wedge or kitten heel) that
can be customized for each unique individual. To go from flattering
to fancy, opt for the kitten-heel model that is also available in

Designer Meredith Buchwald has just launched her new line of apparel,
creatively titled Go Figure. The

The Go Figure line is very important to Meredith, as it could not
have been started without the help of one very special woman.
The woman who is responsible for all the crochet work has undergone
a lot in her life as a cancer patient. Therefore, Go Figure donates
a portion of all proceeds to the American Cancer Society. We are
proud to be a part of the fight against cancer, especially when
it comes to those we love. We couldn’t do it without her;
she inspires us all!
